You're in a meeting with about 6 people, one of them is the boss or manager or team lead, etc. You are all brainstorming on how to screw in a light bulb. One person in the room has an idea to take the bulb and insert it into the socket and turn. The rest of the group looks around at each other and says "hmmm, good idea".
After a long pause, the lead boss manager guy says, "No, you are oversimplifying this. This is much more complicated than you think. We need to at least 3 or 4 people to support this effort, and it will take a couple a weeks of planning to figure out what wattage of the bulb we need, if we need special equipment, and really scope this out."
You just have been introduced to Bob.
Bob over thinks most of the time, among other things, and it's getting close to lunch. Of course, the rest of the room responds, "Oh yes". "We'll need some time with this one". "Maybe we should reschedule and get a steering committee going".
Just screw in the bulb man and move on...
Beware the power of the Bob.
